With a picture perfect forecast…nearly 20 wineries offering up tastes…and non-stop music from five entertaining live bands…prognosticators would tell you the table is set for a record opportunity in Saturday's 11th Annual Lake Michigan Shore Wine Festival ready to pack 'em in at Weko Beach in Bridgman.

The big top tent and performance stage are set and ready to light up the Lake Michigan Shoreline for the 2016 showcase of everything great along the Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail in Michigan's Great Southwest. Thousands of eager wine, music and sun lovers are expected to turn out on a sunny day for this oft anticipated and long-awaiting extravaganza of winemaking excellence from one end of the trail to another.

The massive annual event will pop the first cork at 1pm and the last call will go up at 10pm with a whole lot of world-class fun in Bridgman taking place every minute in between. Advance ticket sales have ended, and the gate fee is $20 per person, cash only. There is, however, an ATM on site for those who left their cash in a jeans pocket back home.

The original brainchild of the late Tom Neubauer, this annual event has turned into the premier wine festival in the entire region, and many who remember Tom and his legacy will hold a toast high in his honor at the big event tomorrow as the music from the stage sweeps across the sandy beach front at Weko Beach.
