Whirlpool Hosts Major Fall Sale to Benefit United Way This Weekend

If you’ve ever come across a Whirlpool product in a special display like at a home show, or in an industry trade show booth or similar setting, you might have wondered what happens to those washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwasher and more once they are retired from the showcase. Well, the answer is they eventually end up being offered at deep discounts alongside other discontinued and obsolete product lines in sales much like the one that is going on this weekend right here in Michigan’s Great Southwest.

Whirlpool’s aggressive United Way team partnership is always pushing to envelope for ways to increase the corporate gift to United Way of Southwest Michigan and this weekend’s sale will help boost that total. The best part is you can pick up a tremendously sweet deal if you act fast.

The Whirlpool Fall appliance sale is going on today and tomorrow at Whirlpool’s Center for Partner Development (CPD) Building in Benton Harbor, and all proceeds will benefit United Way of Southwest Michigan.

There are more than 200 deeply discounted Maytag, Amana, KitchenAid and Whirlpool brand ovens, ranges, microwave hoods, refrigerators, dishwashers, washers and dryers, plus some KitchenAid Small Appliances.

These are all new, discontinued and obsolete appliance products in original packaging with a full one-year warranty. Cash and credit cards are accepted, however,  no checks can, or will be accepted.  Home deliveries are available for an additional $100 donation per appliance with a 15-mile radius.

The event runs today, Saturday, October 28th until 3pm, and from 9am until noon tomorrow, Sunday, October 29th.  The CPD building is located at 1800 Paw Paw Avenue in Benton Harbor.

These are all strictly one of a kind offerings, so when they’re gone, they’re gone for good.
