Who Has the Key to Win-A-Car from United Way SWM and Tyler Automotive Thursday?

The so-called anticipation of Heinz Ketchup will have nothing on a handful of United Way donors tomorrow evening at Tyler Honda of Stevensville. Their anticipation will, no-doubt, be nerve-wracking as the 10 finalists from the United Way of SW Michigan and Tyler Automotive Win-A-Car Sweepstakes take turns trying to start the engine in order to win a free two-year lease on a sub-compact vehicle from Tyler.

Regardless of whether you are one of those finalists, the team at United Way and Tyler invite you to be on hand for the excitement of the wrap up of the 75th Anniversary Sweepstakes event which will get underway around 5pm with the Grand Winner firing up the engine around 6pm.

Last week, 10 finalists were randomly selected for the Win-A-Car deal from United Way of Southwest Michigan and Tyler Automotive, with the grand winner being announced tomorrow evening, Thursday, February 15th, at 6pm at Tyler Honda on Red Arrow Highway in Stevensville.  Each finalist will randomly select a key, and whoever can start the car on display, will win the two-year lease deal on a sub-compact vehicle from Tyler.

Anna Murphy is President of United Way of Southwest Michigan. She expressed thanks to the Tyler team, “For this amazing incentive they brought to the table this campaign season.” She notes, “As this was our 75th year serving Southwest Michigan, we really wanted to provide the community with something fun and exciting, and Tyler stepped up big for us.”

United Way of Southwest Michigan’s annual campaign concluded on January 31st.  To help incentivize the campaign, United Way partnered with Tyler to provide the car challenge. Donors who gave $156 (or $3 per week) were automatically entered into a drawing to win the two-year lease.

Chris Tyler, who owns Tyler Automotive, says, “We were so happy to partner with United Way on this incentive.  It’s going to make for a lot of fun this Thursday. We welcome anyone from the community who would like to come and check it out.” He adds, “We hope this incentive has helped to raise awareness for what it is that United Way does for Southwest Michigan.”

The event will get underway at 5pm, and is open to the public.  Light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be available. There will be a business card drawing open to the public for a chance to win three oil changes at Tyler, and that drawing will take place shortly before 6pm.

Zack East, Campaign Co-Chair and 98.3 The Coast, will be broadcasting live from Tyler, beginning at 4:30pm, and United Way of Southwest Michigan will be live-streaming the reveal from the United Way Facebook page accessible by clicking this link: https://www.facebook.com/unitedwayswmich/
