He called himself "No-Risk Rich," but pretty soon he'll just change that to either Rich or "No-Worries Rich." Rich Trzupek and his wife Irene are stepping away from the helm of the payroll and human resources solutions business they established more than 25 years ago. As they step away from the pay window, the business is also relocating to new quarters about a block away in the Southtown neighborhood of St. Joseph.
The Trzupeks owned & operated TriState Payroll & H.R. Solutions for more than a quarter of a century, but effective with the New Year they will turn over the reins to Stacie Reeves, an employee who has been on staff with them for more than four years and has become, as Rich puts it, "the daughter we never had."
Stacie becomes the new principle at TriState Payroll just as the business moves to 2918 Division Street, just one block west of their current location and north of Express Printing in St. Joe. All of the phone numbers and email addresses for the business remain the same, but the new site will provide considerably easier in-and-out access for clientele as well as expanded parking availabilities.
Rich says that over the past four-plus years Stacie has learned every aspect of the business "and is very professional in every way to handle the day-to-day operations of TriState."
Heather Nitz will become the Human Resources Manager for the business enterprise.
TriState essentially offers itself up as the human resources department for businesses too small or too busy to have an in-house department. Clients retain the hiring and firing decisions and who gets a pay-raise and all, while TriState handles the rest of the H.R. details and even handles payroll for employees. Because they employ a large number of people, they can also offer group health insurance, dental and vision insurance, workers compensation insurance, employee assistance and discount programs, 401(k) plans, and many other benefits that small companies typically find it difficult to afford.
