What was your first job?
Road crew for a theatrical lighting and design company. I’d load in and set up stages and pack it all back up after the show was done.
What’s the best advice you ever got?
As long as you did the best you could do with what you had at the time, there is nothing to be ashamed of.
Who inspires you most?
Lee Iacocca is someone I would have loved to had the chance to sit down and talk with. He had an unmatched vision in the automotive industry.
That one thing about you we’d be most surprised to learn.
I love participating on the stage in community theater, especially in musicals.
What do you love to do in your downtime?
I love to play board games, the more complex the better.
What book are you reading now?
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir
Volunteer activity you love the most.
I love volunteering my time at our local theater because bringing smiles to people faces or making them laugh through art is an unmatched feeling.
What motivates you to give back to your community?
Having personally experienced financial stress, seeing people shoulders relax once they know they are in good hands is a feeling I wouldn’t trade for anything.
What Superpower would you most love to have?
Super speed like the Flash has always been a favorite of mine. At a bare minimum it would make late night snack runs more interesting.
What would you like to leave behind as your legacy once you are gone?
I want to be remembered as a caring stepping stone on peoples’ paths to personal success.
What does the honor of being named to the 40 Under 40 most mean to you?
To be included in the conversation with 39 other deserving individuals and the fact that through me our organization may get more recognition that could lead to being able to help more people is truly the greatest honor.
