Success for the App Guys Grows the Team

You largely know them as the guys who put MailMax into your mailbox or onto the restaurant rack each week. The team at Far Ahead Advertising, however, launched an entirely new enterprise last year that has grown to the point they’ve had to hire a new director to run the show.

Headquartered along Plaza Drive in Benton Harbor, Far Ahead Advertising is known widely for their weekly publication of MailMax. In 2016 the company launched Far Ahead Apps to design and publish mobile apps for small and medium sized businesses who are looking for an effective mobile strategy. Due to the division’s growth, Joe Jason has joined the team as Director of Mobile Apps.

Joe Jason, a 38-year veteran broadcaster and former radio stations’ owner, will oversee the day-to-day operations of Far Ahead Apps. The company made an official press statement to address the matter and to speak about the company’s work.

Glen Head is President of Far Ahead Advertising. He says, “At Far Ahead Apps, we are proud of our cutting-edge low-cost mobile app development service for small businesses in the Midwest.” He adds, “Prior to our app building platform, mobile app development was rather expensive, which deprives small business owners of this profitable business expansion opportunity.”

Mobile apps are known to be beneficial for small businesses in more ways than one. As apps continue to dominate the mobile web, a market trend study conducted in 2015 suggests that mobile web users spend 92-percent of their online time using apps. Businesses can interact with their clients efficiently and provide a personalized experience, which increases customer loyalty. Head says that mobile apps for businesses are a globally recognized factor for increasing customer engagement, generating repeat business and ultimately increasing a company’s yearly revenue.

New Director Joe Jason says, “We specifically want to help small business owners who are looking for effective ways to promote their business and reach out to their customers.“ He says, “Large companies like McDonald’s, Starbucks and Meijer are utilizing the tools that we now make available to almost any business.”

Head further added, “Joe Jason has been on our radar for over 10 years as someone with whom we wanted to partner. He shares our common vision to better serve the small businesses in our area and help them grow. Mobile apps have proven to be extremely beneficial and mobile marketing is becoming one of the most effective strategies of promotion for businesses.”
