One of Southwest Michigan’s most beloved summertime traditions is back and better than ever. The 63rd annual Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff returns to Lake Bluff Park in downtown St. Joseph this weekend, Saturday, July 12 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, July 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. — and for the first time in several years, admission is free.

Presented by 1st Source Bank Wealth Advisory Services, the Art Fair showcases the work of 172 artists from across the country, each juried into this highly respected event that continues to earn national acclaim. While there’s no cost to attend, donations are strongly encouraged to support year-round programming at the Krasl Art Center, including free exhibitions, public art, scholarships, and hands-on community outreach.

More Than Just Art

The Art Fair isn’t confined to the Bluff. Krasl Art Center, just across the street, will host a variety of engaging activities throughout the weekend. Indoors, visitors can explore two free exhibitions: Generation to Generation: Conversing with Kindred Technologies in the main galleries and Poking Fun by Jack Lehtinen in The Lab. Outdoors on the Oval Lawn, emerging artists, faculty, and local creatives will offer handmade works for sale. There’s also a free, all-ages community art project in the East Garden and a striking installation by artist Owen Lowery on display.

VIP Options & Collectible Merchandise

While general admission is free, those looking for an elevated experience can opt for VIP packages available through krasl.org. Also available onsite will be limited-edition 2025 merchandise, including posters, t-shirts, tote bags, pins, and stickers — perfect for commemorating the weekend.

Don’t Miss the Friday Night Block Party

Get an early start on the festivities with the annual Block Party on Friday, July 11 from 5 to 9 p.m. This lively kickoff event sets the stage for a full weekend of art, music, and celebration in the heart of downtown St. Joe.  The Block Party is a ticketed event with a $10 cover charge.

Farmers Market, Food Trucks & Guidebooks

On Saturday only, the St. Joe Farmers Market will be open along Broad Street, right across from the stairs to Silver Beach. Plus, a variety of nearby food trucks will offer tasty options throughout the weekend.

Be sure to grab an Art Fair Guidebook onsite or download it in advance at krasl.org/art-fair/event-information to explore the event map, artist listings, and additional local arts resources.

A Community-Supported Celebration

The 2025 Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff is powered by the generous support of numerous sponsors who share Krasl’s mission of enriching lives through visual art. In addition to title sponsor 1st Source Bank Wealth Advisory Services, the Art Fair receives support from partners like the City of St. Joseph, Mid-West Family Marketing & Media, Southwest Michigan Tourist Council, Signature Toyota, and many more.
