If that has been a lifelong dream of yours, and you really are serious about it…there's a class for that right here in Michigan's Great Southwest.

So You Really Want to Open a Restaurant? SCORE of Southwest Michigan can help.

As the restaurant and hospitality industry in Berrien and Cass Counties continues to grow and expand, playing an important part in the local economy, everybody wants to make sure that the aspiring restaurateurs among us do it right.

SCORE is importing a program from Italy by way of Indiana in the form of a workshop with Giorgi Di Lemis, who educates prospective restaurateurs as well as those getting started.

A Hospitality Executive, restaurant adviser, and investor, Di Lemis says to succeed in restaurants, you need a formula." His session for SCORE provides the opportunity to learn from an expert who will explain the Critical Steps required for achieving a success in Restaurants and Bars.

You will learn the essential strategy used in making a restaurant a financial success, and defying the odds. The Critical Steps provide the key information for you to determine if you should open a restaurant. Giorgi will reveal the formula that makes successful restaurants grow and prosper.

Find out how you can improve your chances to succeed by learning:

  • What experience you need to be an owner and restaurant operator…
  • How to critically examine the brand, concept, and demographics to attract an investor…
  • What the essential skills and procedures are to make a profit in a restaurant.
