For most businesses across the region, April 15th was just another income tax due date. For Rita Jones of Bridgman, it was a rewarding day that successfully wrapped up a full year of paperwork, site inspections, an intensive review of her Gast Road plant and production facility and rigorous scrutiny that has led to the national certification of her M&M Die Cast, Incorporated as a Women's Business Enterprise.
That certification by the Women's Business Enterprise Council — Great Lakes, a regional certifying partner of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council took a full year to accomplish, but the work is now done, and Rita proudly displays her certification document on the wall of her office a short drive away from the Cook Nuclear Plant in Bridgman.
M&M Die Cast was founded 38 years ago in 1978 as a manufacturer of aluminum castings for multiple industry sectors.
