Call it an early holiday gift, or consider it just another day of business, but eight associates in the ranks of the certified public accounting firm of Kruggel Lawton have earned promotions and perhaps some new compensation to go along for the ride.
Kruggel Lawton CPAs is a full service accounting and business advisory firm with offices in St. Joseph as well as in South Bend and Elkhart. They announced today the promotions of eight professionals, including two managers in the St. Joseph office on Upton Drive. The newly elevated associates include Jordan Hesters, Jeff Jurgonski, and Zach Lesh who are now senior staff accountants. Courtney Watts, Patrick Sage, Josh Brown, and Kyle Pletcher, who have all been promoted to manager, while Brandi Rodriguez has been promoted to senior manager.
Patrick Sage, CPA, has been promoted to manager in Kruggel Lawton’s St. Joseph office. He has been with the firm since 2013 and focuses his work on audit, review and compilation engagements, as well as tax preparation for nonprofit organizations and government entities. Sage received his B.B.A. in Accountancy from Western Michigan University.
Kyle Pletcher, CPA, has also been promoted to manager in Kruggel Lawton’s St. Joe office. He has been with the firm since 2015 and specializes in assurance for nonprofit organizations and government entities. Pletcher received his B.S. in Accounting from Manchester University.
Elsewhere in the company, Jordan Hesters, CPA, has been promoted to senior staff accountant in Kruggel Lawton’s South Bend office. He has been with the firm since 2015 and focuses his work on audit, tax, and accounting services for businesses and individuals. Hesters received his B.A. in Accounting/Management from Purdue University.
Jeff Jurgonski has been promoted to senior staff accountant in Kruggel Lawton’s South Bend office. He has been with the firm since the fall of 2015, specializing in assurance services for nonprofit organizations. Jurgonski received his B.A. in Accounting/Business Administration/Economic from Central Michigan University.
Zach Lesh, CPA, has been promoted to senior staff accountant in Kruggel Lawton’s South Bend office. He has been with the firm since 2015 and focuses his work on assurance engagements, as well as tax preparation. Lesh received his B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
Courtney Watts, CPA, has been promoted to manager in Kruggel Lawton’s Elkhart office. She has been with the firm since 2012 and focuses her work on fiduciary tax services, as well as corporate and individual taxation. Watts received her undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Finance from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Josh Brown, CPA, has also been promoted to manager in Kruggel Lawton’s Elkhart office. He has been with the firm since 2015 and has been involved in multiple assurance engagements with a focus on nonprofit entities. Brown received his undergraduate degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, and Bible from Grace College.
Finally, Brandi Rodriguez, CPA, CGMA, has been promoted to senior manager in Kruggel Lawton’s South Bend office. She has been with the firm since 2005 and focuses her work on audit engagements along with assisting clients with tax planning and preparation services. Rodriguez received her B.S. in Business and her M.S. in Accounting from Indiana University South Bend.
