Since emerging onto the electronic news scene a couple of years ago, the Moody on the Market website has been viewed by more than 1.3-million unique visitors who have clicked through for more than 4.7-million page views. We also have more than 8,320 Facebook fans of the website. Clearly, there is a demand for local and regional business and event information from an increasingly larger audience.
With that kind of demand, we’re looking to increase the volume of content that we are able to provide to eager readers hungry for more of the stories that make up the remarkable communities of Michigan’s Great Southwest.
So, how about it? Do you know how to tell a great story? Do you have what it takes to bring the stories of amazing companies and events to life for the readers who visit daily at MoodyontheMarket.com? If so, make plans to join us this coming Tuesday night from 5pm until 7pm at the Hilton Garden Inn of Benton Harbor and bring some samples of your writing along with your resume and a thirst to be a part of the dynamic organization we call Mid-West Family Broadcasting.
The event is called The Beer, Brats & Broadcasting Job Fair, and it takes place inside the Hilton Garden Inn located at 1300 Cinema Way in Benton Harbor from 5pm to 7pm on Tuesday, January 30th. The only cost of admission is your resume.
We at Moody on the Market are hitch-hiking on the broadcasters job fair because we are an integral part of what they do every day, but there are job opportunities across the broadcast spectrum at each of our properties not only in Southwest Michigan, but in South Bend and other Mid-West Family markets throughout the Midwestern United States.
Bring your resume, fill out an application, and we’ll give you a drink ticket and a ticket for a delicious bratwurst to enjoy while you hang out with all the broadcasters and support team to find out what the radio industry, and the Moody on the Market website, have in store for you.
Ten radio stations will be present with more than 40 total represented and all are looking for people to work in sales, on-air, news reporting, and administration.
If you really want to impress us at Moody on the Market, take a little initiative and actually write a story or two about a local company or a favorite upcoming event and give us a truly compelling reason to do something about it in a hurry. Hope to see you Tuesday night at the Hilton Garden Inn.
