Manufacturing companies across Michigan’s Great Southwest will want to know about a new member to their advocacy team in Lansing. There’s a new boss of regulatory and environmental issues for the Michigan Manufacturers Association and he brings a wealth of information and experience to the task, replacing a newly announced retiree from the team.
The Michigan Manufacturers Association (MMA) announced this morning the hiring of David Greco to the position of Director of Regulatory & Environmental Affairs, effective today, Monday, October 28th, 2019. Greco previously held the position of Director of External Affairs for the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and worked in the Michigan Legislature as Associate Legal Counsel & Deputy Director for the House Republican Policy Office.
Chuck Hadden, President & CEO of the Michigan Manufacturers Association, says, “We are very excited to welcome David Greco to the MMA team,” and adds, “Environmental and regulatory issues are some of the most complex areas we work on and David’s experience and knowledge will be essential for keeping manufacturers competitive and representing the best interests of our members.”
Among Mr. Greco’s immediate priorities will be helping to lead the MMA Air, Environmental, Mining & Natural Resource Industries, and Lawyers Committees. He is taking over the role from Andy Such, who announced his retirement over the summer.
