Covert Township authorities are asking the public for help in locating two missing teens not seen since last Friday when they apparently drove off in an SUV that belonged to one of the girl’s grandparents.
Covert Township Police Chief J. Allen is seeking help in finding the two missing girls. He says, Myangel Jeffries and Tonjonae Davis have been missing since Friday, when they left Jeffries residence in Covert sometime in the morning. It is believed they took a vehicle belonging to Myangel Jeffries Grand Parents. The vehicle, a tan 2014 GMC Terrain, was recovered today at 2238 E. Main St in Kalamazoo, where witnesses reported seeing two teenagers walking away from it.
Myangel Jeffries is approximately 5-foot-tall and 200 lbs with mid length black hair that is braided. It is unknown what clothing she was wearing when she left.
Tonjonae Davis is approximately 5’3″ about 130-150 lbs, with long black hair and brown eyes. It is also unknown what clothing she was wearing when she left.
