If you are a student ready to start looking at colleges and universities to attend when you finish high school, or there is such a student in your family, or if you’re looking to change colleges, or go back to college for job skills training, your friends at Lake Michigan College invite you to check out nearly 40 such institutions of higher learning during the Lake Michigan College Virtual College Fair next Monday night, November 16th.
LMC has invited nearly 40 colleges and universities from throughout the Midwest to participate in their Virtual College Fair on Monday night from 6 until 8pm, all in the virtual realm online.
The free event is designed to answer questions for high school students and their parents, adult students who are thinking of attending or returning to college, and students interested in transferring to another institution.
LMC’s Director of Admissions and Recruitment, Jeremy Schaeffer, says, “Researching and visiting prospective colleges and universities even without a pandemic can be a time-consuming process,” and adds, “This year has been extra challenging for students who couldn’t make college visits or meet in-person with admissions staff. We wanted to make it just a little easier by bringing these colleges and universities to them.”
Representatives from each institution will provide brief presentations during four virtual sessions. The evening will conclude with a final Q&A session where students can ask representatives specific questions that may not have been covered in their online presentations.
