Matt Moersch’s team at the Round Barn Estate is gearing up for a full-on return of summer fun in Michigan’s Great Southwest as they prep for their 29th Annual Jammin’ in the Vineyard outdoor concert series and more.
The entire Moersch Hospitality Group is anxious to regain the momentum that is the very essence of summer in the region as they launch the Jammin’ series on May 1st. Side-by-side with the return of summer fun with that popular concert series is the chance to commune with nature on the Mt. Tabor Trails system connecting sister wineries at Round Barn and Tabor Hill, and the popular Teacher’s Hall Pass discount program that recognizes local educators for their hard work. All three of the summer programs are sponsored by Honor Credit Union.
Moersch says, “Summer in Southwest Michigan is always special, and this year I know everyone will appreciate it even more after the challenging time we’ve all been through.” As CEO of Moersch Hospitality Group, which owns Round Barn, Tabor Hill and Free Run Cellars which collectively represent Michigan’s fourth largest winery, Matt says, “We are grateful for our friends at Honor Credit Union and their continued partnership. We are all looking forward to returning to more normal conditions and once again sharing the Southwest Michigan experience with our guests.”
Jammin’ in the Vineyard Concert Series: The popular Round Barn Estate weekend concert series that has earned Round Barn the distinction of being one of USA Today’s 10 Best Wineries/Vineyards with live music, kicks off on Saturday, May 1st, with the annual Sangria Party. Concerts will continue on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through October. Check the schedule at this link: https://roundbarn.com/reservations/summer
Mt. Tabor Trails: The scenic 3.5-mile footpath that opened in June of 2020, winds through vineyards, fields and woods connecting the Round Barn Estate in Baroda and the Tabor Hill Winery & Restaurant in Buchanan. Trails can be accessed from either location at no charge during normal business hours with a choice of easy, moderate and difficult routes. Find out more at this link: https://moerschhg.com/trails
Teacher’s Hall Pass: With teachers being the common foundation between both businesses, Round Barn and Honor Credit Union have always valued the community members devoted to educating tomorrow’s future. That shared appreciation naturally led to a partnership and creation of the Teacher’s Hall Pass, a thank-you, and a way of giving back to all teachers and school administrators from Honor Credit Union and Round Barn. The hall pass provides teachers with free cover into the NEW Summer Tasting Field at the Round Barn Estate, and 15-percent off packaged wine, beer, and merchandise at all Round Barn locations, and more. Stacey Martin, Honor’s VP of Marketing, says, “Each year as the sun begins to warm up Michigan’s Great Southwest, our communities know it’s time to celebrate summer in the vineyard,” and adds, “As a proud sponsor, the team at Honor couldn’t be more thrilled to stand beside our partners and friends at Round Barn as they continue to provide the perfect summer experience for everyone including our teachers, who always work hard and have been heroic over the last year. Cheers to the team at Moersch Hospitality Group for providing great opportunities to reconnect with our friends and families when we need it the most.”
