Positions Available at Great Lakes Montessori
1. Infant Room- 3 positions
a. 7am to 3pm
b. 10am to 6pm
c. 3pm to 6pm
The staff in the infant room, must love babies! No experience necessary, just be happy, outgoing, and loving. We will train you on learning the milestones and development of our babies. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and be able to get up and down off the floor. Looking for a sweet, nurturing, and silly person who likes to soothe, comfort, and love on our sweet babies!
2. Toddler Room- 2 positions
a. 3pm to 6pm
b. 3pm to 6pm
The staff in the toddler rooms, must be full of energy! Our toddlers are on the go, and we need staff that can match their activity levels. No experience necessary, we will train you on the milestones and development of our toddlers. Must be able to get up and down off the floor. You must have a lot of patience to work in these classrooms. Our toddlers are very independent, and you must be able to allow them to gain their independence (no matter how long it takes!) These positions would be perfect for high school or college aged people.
3. Pre-primary Room- 1 position
a. 3 to 6pm
This position is only for 2 to 3 days a week. Again, perfect schedule for the busy student. This room is for busy pre- preschoolers. These little friends are active, independent, curious children and we need the right person to care for them! Must love to interact with children, because this age group loves to talk! You will be trained and taught about milestones and development for this age group!
4. Primary Room- 1 position
a. 3pm to 6pm
This position is great for high schoolers, college students, or even retirees! This age group is 3-year to 6-year old’s and they are so much fun to work with! If you like making crafts or doing fun art projects, this would be the perfect job for you! This is an Afterschool Position, so the students are ready for some fun! No experience necessary, we will train you to be successful at this position!
