Tax season is upon us. Mark Steber is the chief tax information officer for Jackson Hewitt tax services and says if you think there are no changes this tax year, think again.
“There were tax law changes, expirations and revisions to pre-pandemic amounts, there were life changes, and then their is still pandemic influence. People working from various locations, home offices, still working side gigs to make ends meet. So this will be a much different tax season.”
Steber’s number one piece of advice: file as early as possible.
