A special Howl-oween celebration is planned for this month in South Haven.
On October 28 at 1 p.m. you can head to Dyckman Park for a Halloween Pooch Parade. Kendra Kingsbury with Decadent Dogs tells us she’s seen some pretty hilarious dog costumes in past years.
“There was one family where they were all tacky tourists, the dogs included,” Kingsbury said. “So, they all wore these hysterical Hawaiian shirts with cameras around their necks.”
Following the parade, spectators are invited to stay for the costume contest.
The event is free of charge. Kingbury says it’s a fun way to get the whole family into the Halloween spirit.
