A popular breakfast place is signaling its intention to relocate. The Galley Grill, located at the Super 8 Motel, 4196 Red Arrow Highway in Stevensville told its customers on Facebook that it won’t be renewing its lease, effective March 31st—and that it’s looking for a new place to call ‘home.’
The Galley Grill has been in its present location more than ten years, and apparently plans to stay in business, but at a different location according to its social media post. MoodyOnTheMarket.com has been unable to reach Galley Grill ownership for more information.
Our MOTM archives tell us that The Galley Grill has been operated by the Mamouzellos family, headed by ‘Chef Tony Mamouzellos’ and John Mamouzellos.
The restaurant has been a favorite spot for breakfast and lunch for customers looking for a good, reasonably priced meal in a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere.
Galley Grill fans reacted quickly on Facebook, suggesting locations the restaurant could consider for relocation. Among the popular suggestions were the recently vacated Chili’s in St. Joseph, the old KFC just down the street from Chili’s, the former Olympus in Bridgman and the former Country Kitchen on M-139.
Stay tuned. When the Galley Grill figures out where it’s landing, MOTM will let you know.
