One of the region’s most popular, successful and enduring major fund-raising events is being planned once again for March 1st, 2025. Many attendees automatically circle the date on their calendar and work to make sure their Spring Break vacations don’t conflict with it. It’s the “LMC Auction”. A night of fun, fellowship, food & beverages, fund-raising and, this year, some high energy musical entertainment.
For more than 30 years, the Lake Michigan College Student Benefit Auction (as it is formally known) has provided much-needed scholarship support for students who might not otherwise be able to attend college. More than $5 million has been raised for the Scholarship Endowment Fund, with more than $200,000 in student scholarship funds available last year.
