
Michigan State University football legend, author, and entrepreneur, Todd “T.J. Duckett, will be the special guest of the Berrien Spartans at their Steak & Suds Event Thursday, June 12 at Riverview Park, 2927 Niles Road, St. Joseph, Perennial Spartan mascot Zeke the Wonderdog will also make an appearance.
Todd Jeffrey (“T.J.”) Duckett is the CEO of Duckett Enterprises, and several other ventures. A native of Kalamazoo, he is a former NFL running back, a First-Round draft pick by the Atlanta Falcons, and played for the Washington Redskins, Detroit Lions, and Seattle Seahawks. Before his professional career, he played college football at Michigan State University, where he studied Communications.
Duckett is now a motivational speaker and personal development consultant, focusing on student athletes in the fast changing ‘NIL’ world of college and professional sports.
This is the 37th year of the event which features fellowship, food, and beverages. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner served 6:00– 6:45 p.m.
Adult general admissions will be $45 per person (plus fees) and children ages 5-10 $20. Tickets may be bought online until June 8, or until sold out. There are no ticket sales at the door.

Alumni and friends are also invited to support the Berrien County Spartans Endowed Scholarship Fund. A cash 50/50 raffle is planned to help the endowed scholarship fund.
