Civil engineering, architecture, and surveying firm Wightman is adding a municipal services manager to their operation.
The company this week announced the addition of Anthony Ladd, PE, PMP as Municipal Services Manager.
“In this position, the company says Ladd will oversee Wightman’s municipal services team, partnering with communities across the region to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions for water, sewer, roadway, and stormwater systems.”
According to the statement from Wightman, Ladd earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville in 2010 and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Alabama in 2022. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and serves as a member of the Kalamazoo County Advisory Board of Public Works.
“His leadership will support municipalities in navigating complex regulatory environments while maximizing funding opportunities and long-term operational efficiency. With more than 15 years of experience in public infrastructure and project management, Ladd brings a strong background in municipal engineering, capital improvement planning, and infrastructure asset management to his new role.”
The company says Ladd’s professional journey spans both the public and private sectors, leading a wide range of projects focused on improving quality of life through strategic and sustainable development.
Prior to joining Wightman, Ladd most recently worked at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Railroad Administration as a Project Manager. Ladd joined Wightman in May 2025, where he now serves as the firm’s Municipal Services Manager.
“We are thrilled to welcome Anthony to the Wightman team,” said Wightman’s Director of Engineering Kevin Marks, PE. “His passion for infrastructure, strategic mindset, and deep understanding of municipal operations align perfectly with our mission to serve communities with excellence and integrity. Anthony’s experience in the public sector is a perfect addition to bridge consulting services with municipal client needs.”
