It’s not every day you can admire a selection of vintage Rolls Royce automobiles, full classic European cars, Brass Era vehicles, and vintage Studebakers – But you’ll see these and many more on Saturday, July 12 at The Concours d’Elegance at Copshaholm, presented by The Studebaker National Museum in South Bend, LaVine Restorations, and The JBS Collection.
Many fine vintage automobiles will be on display from private collections, individuals, and other area museums- with vehicles chosen to highlight select eras and historical brands. Categories of vehicles for 2025 include all years of Rolls Royce, Mercurys from all eras, Full Classic European, Brass Era vehicles, Ghia Bodied Automobiles, The Roaring Twenties, Micro-Cars, and several more- there is something of interest for any & all enthusiasts!
The Venue itself is worthy of a visit- Copshaholm, the historic Oliver Mansion, is among the most famous homes in the Midwest- the homesite of the Oliver family, who developed the Oliver Plow. The Oliver mansion is adjacent to the Studebaker National Museum and The History Museum, on North Chapin Street in South Bend.
Concours d’Elegance once again welcomes noted automotive historian Bill Rothermel as Master of Ceremonies for the pass & review, to occur at 2:30 on Washington Street. It is a moving display of some of the world’s most renowned vehicles- rarely assembled together in one place, and each one driven in the pass & review procession.
Activites for all include Junior Judging by youth, build & race Lego cars for kids, music, food, fun, Historic Neighborhood Tours, The History Museum, The Studebaker National Museum of course, and a beer garden featuring Studebaker Brewing!
On Saturday July 12, Concours opens to the public at 10am, with the Pass & Review procession at 2:30. The show closes at 4pm. Advance admission is $16, $20 at gate on show day. Museum Members $8 advance, or $10 at gate. Children 16 & under are free.
Admission to Concours d’Elegance includes free admission to The Studebaker National Museum as well as The History Museum.
