Baroda Soda Brings a Sweet New Twist to Downtown Baroda

Baroda Soda

A “refreshing” new business is getting ready to shake things up in downtown Baroda this summer.

Baroda Soda, a handcrafted soda and treat shop, is aiming for an early August opening at 8918 First Street— in the former Tio’s restaurant building. The new spot promises to serve up nostalgia with a modern local flair, offering hand-dipped milkshakes, malts, ice cream, slushies, espresso, and Michigan-made sodas.

More than just a place to grab a sweet treat, Baroda Soda is also positioning itself as a community hub. The shop will feature a rotating gallery space, local artisan goods, and hands-on workshops in everything from cookie decorating and watercolor art to jewelry-making and body scrub blending.

Event space will be available for private parties, showers, wine tours, and more, with a curated list of local creative partners available for bookings.

Open year-round, Baroda Soda says it is focused on supporting Michigan makers and keeping the vibe friendly, fun, and local.
