The Krasl Art Center in St. Joseph has added three professionals to its leadership and creative team, strengthening its capacity in marketing, development, and curation.
Madison Cvengros joined in April as Marketing Manager, bringing a digital media perspective and experience in visual storytelling, video, and traditional marketing strategies.
Starting the same month, Monica Garvey became Development Manager. With a background in communications, she aims to connect Krasl and the Richard Hunt Studio Center to the wider Southwest Michigan community, build partnerships, and expand the region’s arts network.
In late July, Meli Bandera assumed the role of Associate Curator. A curator, educator, and fine artist, Bandera contributed immediately to the opening of Hull-House Artists in Chicago and Beyond.
Executive Director and Chief Curator Tami Fauver praised the hires, noting Krasl’s collaborative culture and the dedication each new team member has shown since joining.
“We have a special work culture at Krasl that I am proud of. Working here requires a strong work ethic, an openness to people and art, and an ability to work collaboratively internally and throughout the community,” said Fauver.
The Krasl Art Center serves St. Joseph, Benton Harbor, and the surrounding area with exhibitions, arts programming, and community engagement. More information is available at www.krasl.org.
