
You’re invited! The St. Joseph-Lincoln Senior Service Center will celebrate its 50th anniversary on Aug. 25, marking a half-century of providing programs and services for older adults in the community.
The celebration is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. at the center, located at 3271 Lincoln Avenue. A formal program will follow at 10 a.m.
Established in 1975, the center has served as a resource and community hub, offering a range of activities and essential services aimed at promoting the health, well-being, and social connection of seniors.
The anniversary event will feature tours, light refreshments, a review of the center’s history and remarks from various community leaders.

According to the St. Joseph-Lincoln Senior Service Center, they are a non-profit organization with a mission to provide a welcoming, safe and friendly setting to senior citizens, supporting member independence by offering social, educational, cultural and recreational programs and services.
