Benton Harbor Area Schools Superintendent Simone Griffin will meet with community members at a special reception Wednesday night.
Speaking on social media, Dr. Griffin invited Tiger parents and guardians to “Chat and Chew,” a new way to connect.
“This is the time where you get my undivided attention to tell me about the great things, hopefully that are already happening in our schools and community, but also so I can hear what concerns and questions you may have about what’s happening within the school district,” Griffin said.
Chat and Chew will be Wednesday night from 5:30 to 6:30 in the Benton Harbor High School Student Commons. Additional sessions will be held September 24 at the Boys and Girls Club Fettig Youth Campus with a focus on community members, and September 30 at Fair Plain Middle School Cafeteria, again for parents.
Griffin says those who attend can share thoughts, ask questions, and hear important updates while having some light refreshments.
