The Verve Pipe Brings West Michigan Rock Legacy to The Acorn November 1

Verve Pipe

Three decades after their first big break, The Verve Pipe continues to prove that great songs and great performances never go out of style. On Saturday, November 1, the band returns to the intimate setting of The Acorn in Three Oaks, bringing with them a catalog that helped define West Michigan’s place on the national music map.

Front man Brian Vander Ark and company first hit it big in the late ’90s, when “Photograph” and the No. 1 hit “The Freshmen” made them staples of modern rock radio. But while many of their contemporaries faded, The Verve Pipe kept pushing forward. Over the years, they’ve reinvented their sound with each release—still anchored by Vander Ark’s sharp songwriting, pop-driven hooks, and a reputation for powerful live shows.

That mix of nostalgia and reinvention has kept the group a fan favorite across generations, whether listeners first discovered them on MTV or on a streaming playlist just last week.

The November 1 performance begins at 8 p.m. (doors open at 7). Tickets are on sale now at acornlive.org. Prices are $40 advance / $45 week of show for general admission and $70 advance / $75 week of show for reserved seating.

The Acorn is located at 107 Generations Drive, Three Oaks.
