The Berrien County Trial Court will mark National Adoption Month with a celebration of family, love, and belonging during its 10th Annual Adoption Day on Monday, November 24.
Four local families will officially grow through adoption during special court hearings throughout the day, beginning at 10 a.m. in Courtroom 403 at the Berrien County Courthouse in St. Joseph. All hearings are open to the public, giving the community a chance to share in the joy of these milestone moments.
This year’s theme, “Falling into Your Place,” reflects the warmth and gratitude that come with finding — and forming — family. Between hearings, at 12:30 p.m., families will gather in the Jury Assembly Room to share personal stories about their adoption journeys.
Now in its tenth year, Berrien County’s Adoption Day has become a heartwarming local tradition, shining a light on the many ways families come together and the lasting impact of giving children a permanent, loving home.
