The Michigan Maritime Museum is kicking off the holiday season with the return of its Holidays at the Heritage Center celebration, running now through January 4.
The museum has once again been transformed into a winter wonderland, offering festive decor, family activities, and a full lineup of events. Highlights include a Holiday Twilight Concert on Wednesday, December 17 and featuring the Kal-Haven Strings. Admission is free with a $5 donation or a non-perishable food item.
On Saturday, December 20, families can stop by for free Selfies with Santa from 11 to 3, followed by Cookies and Cocoa with Captain Bob, with story readings at noon and 1.
The celebration will wrap up with free admission on Sunday, January 4.
Maritime Museum Director Bailey Sisoy-Moore says the season is a chance to celebrate community and thank supporters after a year of growth.
