Public hearing set for proposed Culver’s restaurant in Paw Paw

The Village of Paw Paw Planning Commission will hold a public hearing next month to gather input on a proposed Culver’s restaurant development.

The hearing is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 5, at 7 p.m. and will take place during the commission’s regular meeting at Paw Paw Township Hall, 114 N. Gremps St.

The proposal involves development of a Culver’s fast-food restaurant with a drive-through on a 3.24-acre parcel along County Road 665. The property, identified as Parcel No. 80-47-600-004-60, does not yet have a street address and is generally located between the Sunoco service station and the Lions Club.

According to the notice, the hearing is intended to receive public comments on the site plan for the proposed development. Project plans are available for review through the Village of Paw Paw Community Development Department.

Residents may provide comments in person at the hearing or submit them in advance. Written comments must be received by 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, and can be sent to Village Clerk Karla Tacy by email at k.tacy@pawpaw.net or by phone at (269) 657-3148. Comments may also be mailed to the Village Clerk at 111 E. Michigan Ave., P.O. Box 179, Paw Paw, MI 49079.
