After several months of careful remodelling work, Ben’s Soft Pretzels is open in its new downtown St. Joseph location. The area’s only exclusive ‘pretzel place’ opened the doors at 608 Pleasant Street, next to the alley, East of the St. Joseph Today Welcome Center.
Ben’s Soft Pretzels has beenoperating from its food truck, making stops all over the area, since it closed last October in the Benton Harbor Arts District. The word of the reopening came in a social media post:

Ben’s Soft Pretzels is owned by Julie and Patrick Weckel, who opened the store in Benton Harbor in 2021. They will continue to operate the popular food truck in addition to the new location. See their Facebook page for scheduled stops.
