A Happy Ending for a Pooch Named Polly

At MoodyOnTheMarket.com we like stories with ‘happy endings.’  One was brought to our attention today by Kim Hochstetler of our affiliated Mid-West Family staff in Benton Harbor.   Kim works with Animal Control , Animal Aid and other Animal Shelters in the region to put together weekly radio features to get homeless pets adopted.  You might know the features under several names, sponsored by Mason Jar Cafe,  on the differently formatted music stations.  Pet of the Week, Furry Friends Friday, etc.

The ‘good news’ came from Cass County, about a dog that got a ‘forever home’ after almost a year and a half in the shelter:

HUGE NEWS!  Thanks to your help last Friday, Polly, who WAS Cass County Animal Control’s longest resident, has been adopted!!  After her appearance on Furry Friends Friday, a WIRX listener reached out to a friend after hearing about Polly.  Officer Abby told me that the adopter is a perfect match for Polly.    Polly had been at Cass County Animal Control for 426 days!!

Congratulations to all involved… and especially to Polly!
