A Weekend of Island Fun with Round Barn

Memorial Day weekend kicks off Summer in the Midwest with cookouts, cocktails, and company, and the Round Barn venues in Baroda have an overflowing schedule to fill your sunny days with fun.

Friday, May 27th, head to Round Barn Brewery & Public House for their *new* Tiki Party from 5 p.m to 10 p.m, where their beer garden will come alive with cool island jams by Reggae Express and tasty tropical drinks. The Nola Roux food truck will be on-site, serving up delicious Cajun eats that pair perfectly with fruity beverages and the heat of May.

The festivities serve as a launch party of sorts for their brand-new Lake Michigan Shipwreck Spiced Rum, featuring new cocktails that are sure to become your new favorite. “This specialty-crafted spiced rum features botanical flavors mixed with hints of orange and spices, and rum distiller, Robbie Scudder, will be in attendance signing bottles at the party!” says Round Barn.

Sunday, May 29th will bring the return of the annual Island Spirits Party at Round Barn Estate, turning the three-day weekend into an island getaway. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m, sip on Island Water, a newly curated cocktail featuring their debut of their Shipwreck spiced rum, and dine with either the Round Barn Food Truck or Wood, Stock, & Grill. ‘Jam in the Vineyard’ with live music from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m, provided by Erik Donner and the Reggae Express.

There is a $5 cover charge for the Island Spirits party at Round Barn Estate, and the afternoon will offer tropical fun in the sun, and tiki mugs with purchase of Island Water, while supplies last.
The Tiki Party in the beer garden is free admission, and is located across the street from the Public House. Visit roundbarn.com for more information!
