If you’re looking for that certain something to give to a loved one for the holidays this year, the South Haven Center for the Arts has you covered.
Center director Kerry Hagy tells us they’re hosting their 39th annual Mistletoe Market from November 22 through December 14.
“We work with West Michigan artists and makers to create a fun holiday shopping experience four weeks at the center,” Hagy said.
Items for sale will include ornaments, jewelry, scarves, hats, blankets, wall art, woodworked crafts, and more.
Hagy says the center will be specially decked out for the market.
“Each year the committee picks a theme, and they’ve picked a theme of a snow globe. So the whole center, outside and inside, is going to be dressed up as a snow globe. And then one of the things we’re going to have is snow globe ornaments that our committee made that you can donate to the center and get a snow globe ornament.”
The Mistletoe Market hours will be Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The market will offer opportunities to create, including a holiday card making station and art workshops throughout the five weeks.
Hagy also invites everyone to the Mistletoe Market Preview Party on November 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 for members and $25 for non-members, and the party will include live music, food from Cafe Julia’s, and wine.
