Bottoms Up Pub Run Slated

As the weather gets nicer we're seeing more and more runners out on the roads of Michigan's Great Southwest and the number will balloon dramatically at the end of the month when the 6th Annual Bottoms Up For A Cure Pub Run takes to the streets as the Lucky Charms works to benefit Berrien County Cancer Service.

It's the kind of race that has something for everyone inasmuch as you can run, walk, crawl or bike your way along the route, and you're guaranteed to have fun in the process. Essentially, enrolled runners — or shall we say "participants" — will begin and end at Babe's Lounge on Riverview Drive in Benton Harbor with intermediate stops along the way at The Buck Burgers & Brew in downtown St. Joseph, 221 Main in St. Joe, On the River Tavern on Fisherman's Road in St. Joe, and River's Edge Bar & Grill on Main Street in downtown Benton Harbor.

Food & Drink specials at each stop will be offered up along with Jello shots and prize drawings galore. Pre-registration is underway at a price of $22, or you can register on the day of the event for $25.00. Pre-registration includes a commemorative T-shirt.

Underwriters and sponsors of the event include Edward Jones Investments, Pri-Mart Quick Shop & Pri-Mar Petroleum, Attila Real Estate, Horizon Bank, Twisted Twin Custom Motorcycles, Stonegate Park Dentistry & Dr. Tim Ward, LPL Financial, 98.3 The Coast, and Chemical Bank.

The 6th Annual Bottoms Up For a Cure Pub Run will take place beginning with check-in at Babe's at 11am and a start time of 1pm on Saturday, April 30, 2016. You can register online by clicking the link below, or you can stop by The Coast Studio at 580 E. Napier Avenue in Benton Harbor and pay by cash or credit card. The registration deadline to assure a t-shirt is April 22nd.
