The Boulevard Inn and Cornerstone Alliance celebrated the new renovations at the hotel Wednesday with a ribbon cutting.
The $3.5 million refresh included a new market lobby added for guests and various other infrastructure improvements designed to enhance overall comfort. Owner Mark Whitwam said he was happy to unveil the renovations to the community and guests.
“We love our guests,” Whitwam said. “They told us what they wanted to see in a renovation. We did a lot of what we wanted to do. There’s still a lot to do, so we’re going to start saving right now for that next one. Hopefully, that’s not too far behind. A lot of what we’re able to do here in the community is because of visitors. And so, yes, I’m, again, grateful for them.”
The project, which wrapped up in May, kept the modernized inn’s amenities while preserving its classic charm. Whitwam said the hotel looks to continue improving areas for guests, and more renovations could be seen in the future.
