Boys & Girls Clubs to Host 2nd Annual STEAM Dream Day

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Southwest Michigan will hold its 2nd Annual STEAM Dream Day, a large-scale interactive event designed to inspire Club youth through hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math activities. Approximately 500 Club members from 11 sites across Southwest Michigan are expected to attend.

Participants will rotate through more than 30 experiment stations designed to spark curiosity and creativity, with staff and volunteers on hand to guide them.

When:
Thursday, July 10, 2025

  • Group A: 11:30 AM–2:15 PM

  • Group B: 2:00–4:30 PM

Who:
Youth members from Club sites across Berrien and St. Joseph Counties, along with Club staff, volunteers, Area Agency on Aging “foster grandparents,” and event leads from Boys & Girls Club staff and Whirlpool Corporation. Donors and supporters are also invited to visit throughout the day. This event is not open to the general public.

Event Highlights:

  • 500+ youth participating in interactive STEAM experiments

  • 30+ hands-on activity stations indoors and under outdoor tents

  • Pizza lunch, ice pops, and ice cream snacks for all youth

  • Guest visits by donors and Michigan Department of Education’s MiLEAP team

  • Club staff and volunteers helping youth navigate activities, promoting learning, teamwork, and fun
