Corewell Health Foundation is offering the Southwest Michigan community an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of mothers and infants, while at the same time enjoying a marvelous night out in a unique atmosphere.

It’s the annual Corewell Health Gala, featuring a night of entertainment, fine dining and philanthropy on Friday, June 7.  Historically, the event has been held on the hospital campus in St. Joseph.  This year, it’s a totally different venue—one that’s just down the road but feels like a journey to another era—the Journeyman Distillery in Three Oaks.

Corewell Health Foundation Southwest Michigan invites you to gather with your group of friends or business associates at your private reserved table for an unforgettable evening of fellowship and good times, all the while ‘Investing in Healthy Beginnings’ and ‘Securing Brighter Futures for Mothers and Infants’—the theme of the evening.

This year, all Gala proceeds will benefit the maternal and infant health initiative focused on walking the journey of parenthood with soon-to-be parents and their families in the Southwest Michigan community. The program helps to reduce maternal mortality, improve maternal and infant health, and promote family well-being and stability. With this healthy beginning, mothers and infants move toward a stronger and healthier future right here in the community we all call home.

Whether your table for the evening is made up of friends who share your commitment to these important goals of improving maternal and infant health, or of business associates you would like to honor by hosting at an event that truly makes a difference, you will feel a sense of satisfaction in knowing that your efforts and financial support are leading the way toward an imminently worthy goal—healthier mothers and babies.

If you have not visited Journeyman Distillery, you are in for a unique evening at the Corewell Gala event.  It’s a journey back in time to the Featherbone Factory, where they manufactured fine ladies’ corsets—and buggy whips.  Great care has been taken in the restoration and transformation into a wonderful event space with fine food and drink from Journeyman Distillery.  You and your guests will almost certainly be planning a return visit after enjoying the evening created by Corewell Health Foundation’s staff.
