Cornerstone Alliance Establishes Tools for a Safe Return to Work Guide

With restrictions beginning to be eased on various sectors of Michigan’s business community following the latest executive order from Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Berrien County’s lead economic development agency is gearing up to help businesses prepare to return to work safely.

It will be a lot more complicated than simply rolling up the shades, unlocking the doors, and hanging out the “open for business” placard. That’s why Cornerstone Alliance has crafted a resource guide sharing information from sources like the Center for Disease Control, Spectrum Health Lakeland and other reputable sources for the safe return at your place of business.

They have also assembled information on how to obtain personal protection equipment for employees from local companies and manufacturers.

Cornerstone President Rob Cleveland says, “We’re coordinating guidance and tools for businesses, employees and customers alike.” Pointing to the online guidance resources, Cleveland adds, “This guide will change and be updated based on the most current information.” The planning materials can be found by clicking this link: Health-and-Safety-Resources-for-SWM-Business
