Coloma Community Schools has announced that five of its teachers have received a total of over $1500 in grants to buy classroom supplies, update classroom materials and improve their curriculums for the 2025-26 school year through local Acorn Grants. A few projects they will be pursuing include:
- Starting a program to promote mental health support called Dignity Program
- Purchasing a chicken egg incubator and a “Red-Barn” style brooder to create an engaging, hands-on agricultural science program for students
- Purchasing STEM materials for third grade students to experiment with
