The musicians of JacksonVibe believe in the power of music to uplift and inspire. Audiences can experience the band’s powerful performance on Saturday, October 4, at the Box Factory for the Arts in St. Joseph.
JacksonVibe was born in Fort Wayne, IN, during the height of the COVID pandemic—a time when isolation and uncertainty made connection through music was more vital than ever, said frontrunner Derrick Jackson. Growing up in foster homes, “I learned early that music was the one constant I could carry with me,” he said. “JacksonVibe is my biography in rhythm and harmony.”
The group is made up of five or more musicians playing a variety of styles and instruments. “Whether it’s soul, funk, gospel, or acoustic storytelling, our goal is always the same: to connect, heal, and celebrate the human journey,” Jackson said.
See JacksonVibe live on stage on Saturday, October 4, 7-9 p.m., at the Box Factory, 1101 Broad St. in St. Joseph.
Tickets are $12 general admission purchased in advance at ticketstripe.com/jacksonvibe, or $15 at the door. A cash bar is available for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
