If you love the concept of making things with your own hands and creating things with your own mind, have they got a party for you this weekend. Whirlpool Centennial Park below the bluff in St. Joseph will spring to life with hundreds of like-minded people who are the creators, innovators, risk-takers, and idea generators among us ready to roll out the red carpet on the 4th Annual Southwest Michigan Mini Maker Faire coming Saturday, June 2nd to 330 Broad Street in St. Joseph.
From 10am until 4pm that colorful park alongside the Whirlpool Compass Rose Fountain will be bursting with energy as organizers from the Berrien Regional Educational Services Agency (Berrien RESA), Cornerstone Alliance and Kinexus play host to a great day of activities for all ages. Additionally, the event is supported by Honor Credit Union, Midwest Orthotics, JR Automation, Hanson Mold, Bosch Community Fund, and Beaudoin Electric, and the showcase is presented in partnership with Maker Media.
The fourth annual Mini Maker Faire will be a day of family-friendly making, learning, crafting, inventing and tinkering below the bluff in downtown St. Joseph. It’s an opportunity for everyone to be inspired by makers, designers, artists, crafters, engineers, scientists and technologists from across the region.
