A little bit of Chicago is going to be missing from South Haven.
Gino’s East, a pizza place that has its roots in the Chicago area and came to South Haven in 2018, has shut down. The restaurant detailed its demise and disappointment on Facebook:
It is with the heaviest of hearts we announce the closing of Gino’s East in South Haven. It’s difficult to artIticulate the amount of gratitude for your patronage over the years, especially during these unprecedented times in the restaurant industry.
When we looked to 2022 this was not the plan but we hope you understand this decision was not made easily.

Gino’s East was located at 248 Broadway in downtown South Haven.
