A Casey’s General Store is coming to Hartford.
A groundbreaking on the new convenience store, gas station, and pizza place to be located at 61827 County Road 687 will be held next Thursday, September 11 with city and local business leaders on hand. The groundbreaking will officially kick off the construction of a new store that Casey’s says will be tailored to the specific needs of Hartford residents and those passing through.
City Manager Nicol Pulluiam welcomes the new business, saying it will create jobs and expand the community’s tax base while giving residents more shopping options.
The $1.85 million development comes as Casey’s has been making an expansion into Southwest Michigan in recent years, now with stores in Berrien Springs, Bridgman, and Watervliet.
