The Krasl Art Center in St. Joseph is highlighting the impact of its education programs as it works to raise donations heading into the new year.

The center says it has already reached 80% of a $20,000 matching goal to support arts education, with all donations being doubled thanks to a challenge grant from the Upton Foundation.

In 2025 alone, the Krasl says more than 1,000 students took part in 113 camps, classes, and workshops at the center. Krasl Art Center also employed nearly 50 teaching artists, welcomed six new instructors, and awarded 76 scholarships to help expand access to its programs.

The center says community support continues to play a key role in helping it create meaningful change through the visual arts across Southwest Michigan.
