If you’re looking for a fun collection of local artisans selling a variety of holiday-ready, handmade goods, you’re in luck. This Friday and Saturday (November 24 & 25), the Benton Harbor Arts Association is hosting what they call a Bizarre Bazaar holiday shopping experience.
The experience will reportedly include live, local music entertainment, adult beverages, and a bazaar filled with numerous “one-of-a-kind” holiday items.
Organizer Julee Laurent says the Benton Harbor Arts Association is bringing together 16 local artisans who will offer handmade ornaments, upcycled yard art, gourmet home-baked goods, jewelry, candles, and more.
“The concept for this event was to bring a diverse group of artists, makers and performers together to celebrate creativity, while supporting the arts and small businesses,” said Laurent.
Shoppers will be treated to live music by Mike Struwin, Morgan Ingle, and youth performers from the Citadel Music Center, with an opportunity to get photos taken with the Grinch.
The event will be held in the former Brammell Supply Warehouse space at 196 Water Street. Entry is free, any donations to the BHAA will be cheerfully accepted.
The event is at 196 Water Street from 11am to 6pm both Friday and Saturday. To learn more, you can visit the event page on Facebook.
