“We are collecting new toys, games and care items for the children at the CAC,” said Patrick Bosse, president and strategic director at Holt Bosse. “The CAC team does incredible work providing a safe, child-friendly place for kids in our community. We hope these donations provide a little bit of comfort for children as they navigate their path to healing.”

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Michigan (CAC) provides hope, healing and justice for children and families impacted by abuse. At the CAC, children are welcomed into a safe, child-centered space for forensic interviews — a crucial step in investigations designed to protect them and minimize trauma. Each child receives a small stuffed animal for comfort during this difficult time.
Beyond crisis response, CAC provides advocacy, trauma-focused therapy, forensic medical exams and prevention education at no cost.
In addition to these services, the CAC Care Closet plays a vital role in meeting the basic needs of families in crisis who must leave home suddenly for safety. Providing these items ensures that children leave the CAC with dignity and the essentials they need. Donations such as gas gift cards, individually wrapped snacks, hygiene items, cleaning supplies, diapers, toys, games and puzzles are greatly appreciated.
