Holt says, “We’ve always really enjoyed coming up with ideas and materials for numerous nonprofits in Southwest Michigan,” and adds, “That’s why we decided to start the Make a Mark Campaign in 2018. We really wanted to focus on helping one area nonprofit make a bigger mark by dedicating up to $50,000 worth of our time and skills to their marketing efforts.”
The donated services can be applied toward boosting the recipient’s annual marketing budget, kick-starting a capital campaign or getting the word out about new programs or services, fundraising, and the like. Holt says services covered by the “Make a Mark” campaign include strategic, media and public relations plans as well as development and creation of websites, social media campaigns, digital, print, radio and television advertising, direct mail, billboards and more.
Bosse notes, “Local nonprofits are stretched so thin, and we want to do what we can to help organizations reach their marketing goals,” and reminds applicants, “The only costs a nonprofit will incur are outside purchases. All our time is provided at no cost to our Make a Mark partner.”
