Winner, winner…chicken dinner!
Cornerstone Alliance and their local, full-service marketing agency of Holt Bosse have emerged from international competition with a Gold dotCOMM Award for the team at Berrien County’s lead economic development agency.
Cornerstone Alliance and Holt Bosse, their local full-service marketing agency with over 100 years of experience, made the joint announcement today regarding the victory for the Cornerstone Alliance website (cstonealliance.org).
The dotCOMM Awards is a prestigious international competition honoring excellence in web creativity and digital communication. Award categories include:

Holt Bosse and Cornerstone Alliance received the gold award in the Economic Development category. Cornerstone Alliance was one of only two economic development organizations worldwide to be recognized for this years awards. The other economic development organization was the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corp. in Tampa, Florida. Winning a dotCOMM award signifies to employers, clients, prospects and competitors that the winner’s web and digital work is among the best in the industry.
The dotCOMM Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), one of the largest, oldest and most respected evaluators of creative work in the marketing and communication industry. Since its inception in 1994, AMCP has judged over 200,000 entries from throughout the world.
Holt Bosse co-owner, Dave Holt, says, “Cornerstone Alliance has always been a champion for innovation and progress in our community, and they have a wonderful story to tell.” He adds, “Our goal with the website was to not only underscore these success stories and that progressive attitude, but to give people some valuable tools they could start using right away.”
The website redesign puts Cornerstone Alliance’s success metrics on the front page in an easy-to-read way, which makes it clear as to who they are are and what they do. The website is also easier to navigate and there are added functions, like the searchable properties and the interactive project map.
Chris Frank, Vice President of External Affairs at Cornerstone Alliance says, “Holt Bosse is a fantastic team to work with,” and adds, “We are very excited about our new and improved website and we are looking forward to utilizing the new features to further serve our community. Its great to have all of the work we’ve done for this new site to be recognized on an international level and we are proud of the dotCOMM Awards recognition.”
Cornerstone Alliance is a non-profit, investor-governed economic development organization primarily focused on increasing employment opportunities, private sector capital investments and the local tax base in Michigan’s Great Southwest; with specialized business services offered in economically distressed areas.
No word on when the teams will get together to celebrate with their chicken dinner.
